Our Facilities

Bear Creek Mobile Veterinary Services' new clinic was completed in May of 2008.  Uwharrie builders worked very closely with us to design and build a facility we can call home.  The goal of the clinic was add to the services we offer to our clients, not take them away.  BCMVS is still by definition a mobile service and will stay that way.  This facility allows us to more intensely manage and treat complicated cases, provide convenient hospitalization, decrease veterianry expenses by eliminating farm call fees, and provide services which are not possible in a field setting.

We pride ourselves on the clinics client friendly layout with truck/trailer pull-through capability.  Trailers can easily make a full circle around the building with none of the hassle associated with backing up.  The entire perimeter is enclosed with fencing to provide a safe place for your animals.

Our office is available by appointment during the week for your convenience and we even offer Saturday morning appointments at the clinic from 8:30am to 11am.  Simply call or email us to schedule your visit at our new facility.

For our equine patients:

  • 3, 12 x 12 box stalls
  • 12x 24 Mare and Foal stall (with 24/7 camera monitoring capability).
  • Palpation/breeding stocks
  • Small paddock turnout accessible to the stalls.
  • Hospitalization and boarding for breeding.
  • 16 x 72 ft indoor, concrete breezeway for lameness evaluation.

For our "smaller" patients (goats, sheep, llamas, alpacas, and pet pigs):

  • Our facility boasts a climate controlled surgery room equipped gas anesthesia machine  for the more in depth procedures that we offer, like Cesarean sections, spays, neuters, etc.  The surgery room also has a viewing window which allows you to watch your animals' surgery.
  • Two 4 x 4 block stalls central to the teatment area where patients can be monitored post-op.
